Feedback from other BID directors about Main Street America (I asked about this and am coordinating an info session with other BID directors, so I’ll know more in December.) https://mainstreet.org/get-involved/join-us/general-member ($295 / year).
IV. New Business
Replacement for Ex Director position. Job description here.
Discuss bookkeeping options in 2025 with EDC. Both the BID and the EDC will need bookkeeping. Current BID 16 bookkeeping fee with bill pay is $575. EDC bookkeeping with bill pay would be $500 (one-time setup fee is a flat $500). BID 16 bookkeeping with no bill pay would be $350/month with a $500 one-time setup fee. Bare minimum: If we want to wait to hire a bookkeeper until we actually have income and expenses, I suggest we set up a bank account for the EDC with some seed money from the BID so that we can begin applying for grants. (We need a bank account in order to receive money from grants.)
