OUR PARK

BID 16 Uptown Crossing’s park — CALLED UPTOWN 56 — IS LOCATED at the corner of N. 56th Street and W. North Avenue.

Every summer, BID 16 hosts our annual “Uptown Get Down,” at the park, where you’ll find plenty of food, fun and music.

Local business owners use the park to host their own events. For instance, Mercedez Butts (left), owner of Joyce’s House Education Center, used the park in September 2023 for a literacy event attended by Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson (middle) and BID 16 Executive Director, Tracy Staedter (right).
