Join us Thursday, August 17, from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm for the second of three music and art events in our Uptown Get Down series. Music, sponsored by VISIT Milwaukee, and pop-up vendors will be located in the park at 5531 W. North Avenue, but we’ll also have several businesses within our district participating, too. Lots of food, fun, music and art up and down the street!

Emily Zimmer, aka "That 90's Kid” (5:00pm - 6:30 pm). Donna Woodall, the 2023 WAMI female vocalist of the year, (6:45pm - 8:30 pm). Food from Karol’s Kitchen, Arty’s Sweet Talk Cupcakes, and Pete’s Pops. Beer from Vennture Brew Co. Face-painting for kids (and adults??) from Shades of Face, plus art and gifts from Semma’s Sunflower Organics and other retail vendors.

Host: Tricklebee Cafe. Location: 4424 W North Ave. Free music from The Steph Lippert Project, food for sale from Vegan Soul (burgers) & Solful Kitchen (cupcakes), and activities that include standing yoga, a reading circle, and chair massages available from Heartwood Healing Collective, among other local makers.

Hosts: Barre Milwaukee, Pour Inc,  Bavlnka Brand, Cloud 9 Workshop, and Gigi's. Location: 5205 West North Ave. Free music from Jorge Vallentine, food available for purchase from Aj's Munch and Crunch and non-alcoholic cocktails available from Equal Parts. Cloud 9 Workshop will have a free hands-on project available from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm!

Host: Paloma Tacos & Tequila. Location: 5419 W North Ave. Free music from the Lounge Dogs.

Host: Joyce’s House. Location: 5601 W. North Ave. Participate in Literacy Trivia games.
